  SmartBalance now offers a full array of healthy food products. Over time, more and more margarines contained trans fatty acids (hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils). It was becoming difficult to find a brand without hydrogenated fat. Then came SmartBalance Buttery Spread, without the hydrogenated fat, followed by other Smart Balance products such as Peanut Butter.
